Pricing, How to Book, and Other Information for Private Cooking Classes (Terms & Conditions)


Private Classes in Our Kitchen

Our kitchen can accommodate up to 40 persons.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.

***Tuesday through Thursday is $69 per person. We do not charge sales tax, but we do charge a gratuity of 20% in addition to the price per person. Our minimum number of persons to conduct a class is 12.  To check availability, please email us at or start booking here.***

***Fridays and Saturdays with a class starting time of no later than 2:30 pm, pricing is $69 per person. This pricing covers 80% of our menus, except classes that are seafood-focused or ones with more expensive cuts of meat, such as filet mignon or rack of lamb.  These classes are $10-20 more per person.



In order to book a private party, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date of your choice. You can pay by check or credit card. We use Square to send invoices and request payment when using credit cards. The price includes the appropriate number of chefs needed to teach the class, support staff, help, and use of our space.


Other Fees

Please note that if your class starts later than the arranged time by more than 15 minutes, you will be billed on a prorated basis of $100 per hour for that time. Also, if you stay beyond the total max class time of four hours at our facility, there is a $100 per hour facility use fee.



Our facility is available for meetings prior to or after your class for $100 per hour. For morning meetings, we provide coffee and pastries. For mid-day and afternoon, we can provide iced tea and snacks. We have a projector available as well as TVs that can be hooked up via USB or HDMI to your computers.


If you want to book a private cooking class:
Step 1 - Read through all the information (I know, reading sucks, sorry!) and watch this video to see what our classes are like.
Step 2 - Click on this link, complete and submit the private cooking class form.  Please note, when submitting your form, you must request a specific date. If your request is approved, it is contingent on the date and date changes may not be approved depending on availability and other factors.  Please note, you do not have to know your menu, list of allergies, or exact headcount (can be plus or minus 5 persons) at the time of submitting the form.  YOUR PRIVATE COOKING CLASS IS NOT BOOKED UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID THE DEPOSIT.  We will send you a Paypal invoice for the deposit.  You may also pay for your class in full through Paypal.
Step 3 - Within two weeks prior of your private class, you must know your exact start time, headcount (four weeks for Friday and Saturday nights), menu (choose from here), list of your party's allergies and dietary restrictions, list of additional items you'd like provided (food trays or merchandise).  Wine and beer can be selected at the event and added to your invoice.
Step 4 - One week prior to your event, you will receive an email confirming all your class' final details. Read this email and make sure all information is correct and has not changed. If there are changes that need to be made, notify us immediately so that we can try to accommodate as best we can.
Step 5 - Two days prior to your class you will receive an email with driving directions, last-minute instructions, and copies of your recipes. Please forward this email to those in your party.


Terms & Conditions:

Well Done Cooking Classes does not issue refunds.  

We require a signed credit card authorization form, for which your deposit will be charged. The deposit amount for classes is half the fees of a base price or set minimum depending on the time of day and day of the week for your chosen event.  The amount will be reflected on your deposit Invoice, sent separately.  The deposit charged will be no more than a maximum of $1265, which is required for 32 or more persons on a Friday or Saturday evening.  The deposit paid will then be applied as a credit to the final balance owed.  Well Done uses Square to accept payments and send invoices.  Please follow their instructions on how to complete payment.

Menu selections must be made a week prior to your scheduled class, or Well Done will select a menu for you. Menu selections may be found here.  Menus including finer cuts of steak, shellfish, seafood, or gourmet ingredients may involve an up-charge ranging from $10 to $30 per person.

Well Done Cooking Class aprons with our logo are $25. Aprons personalized with names are based on embroidery costs. Company logo pricing varies and will require a $75 set up fee unless a digitized file can be provided (.emb format or similar). All requests for embroidery, including names and logos, must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to your class date. Pre-payment required for custom aprons.

CANCELLATIONS:  If you need to move the date of your private event, you must let us know at least three full weeks, 21 days, prior to your scheduled class date and time. Failure to notify us of a change in date within this specified time period listed above will result in the credit card on file being charged for the final balance due.  Sorry, but there are no exceptions.

Your class is a four-hour reservation that begins 30 minutes prior to your class start time to allow for setup and settling in. Most classes are approximately three hours. If you exceed the four hour reservation time, an additional fee of $100 per hour will be added to your invoice unless arrangements have been made otherwise. Please make sure your guests arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to avoid this additional fee. For example, if you would like a class start time of 6:30 pm, please let your guests know they need to arrive between 6 pm and 6:15 pm to start by 6:30 pm. You will have until 10:00 pm to finish eating, drinking wine, and wrapping up conversations. Staying past 10:00 pm will result in the additional hourly fee. The chef on staff is not required to remind you of the time restrictions and will add the fee to your invoice.

The final headcount is needed one week prior to your scheduled class. If you have fewer guests arrive than stated on this invoice, Well Done is not required to refund or credit the difference in price. If you have additional guests arrive, the number of additional persons will be added to your invoice.  We discourage fluctuations in attendance as we usually have a set amount of food on hand, so please make sure you get as accurate an RSVP count as possible to prevent being overcharged.

Private use of the entire facility is guaranteed on Friday and Saturday evenings. At all other times, groups of 16 or more may request private use of the entire facility, though this could lessen the chance of availability and cannot be guaranteed if not approved before the class is booked. Once a group is confirmed for private use of the entire facility, the headcount pricing cannot drop below 32 for Friday and Saturday evenings (physically there can be less than 32 persons present, but you will still be charged the full price), and 16 for all other times. 

All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be mentioned when the final headcount is emailed. Failure to notify Well Done in a timely fashion about allergies or food restrictions may result in being unable to accommodate your guests’ needs.


The final balance on the invoice must be paid no later than the date of the cooking class.  Failure to pay the final balance owed on the date of the cooking class will result in a 5% late fee, and the balance will be charged to the credit card on file the day following the cooking class.
