- Cookies (chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin - the most common and the most yummy!)

- Cake (basic two-layer yellow cake)

- Frosting (chocolate or vanilla made without a recipe, we provide one as well)

- Quickbreads (banana bread and the most delicious, moist pear bread)

- Muffins (blueberry or cranberry)

This is the most informative baking class you'll ever take! We guarantee it!!!

We'll teach you how to make simple cookies, easy two layer cakes with homemade frosting, and seasonal quickbreads (banana, pear, apple, etc). We'll also educate you about common baking ingredients and how they work together to create so much happiness.  We'll also talk about why things don't work, so you can adjust some of your favorite recipes yourself!

WILL I GET FULL IN THIS CLASS?

Probably not.

You will be making plenty to take home! But this class is not centered on a meal. Baking is essentially chemistry, and this means it is heavy on instruction; it also means long baking times. There might not be anything to snack on well into the class. We recommend having a full meal before coming to class.

What Is Your Age Restriction Policy?

AGE RESTRICTIONS

At this time children under the age of 12 are NOT allowed to participate in ANY of our classes. No exceptions.

If you would like to enroll a teenager in one of our classes, a parent or guardian must be in attendance with him/her. He/she may ONLY attend baking classes, cooking fundamentals classes, and Saturday morning or afternoon classes.

PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF OUR EVENING CLASSES. All classes are BYOB and persons under the age of 18 MAY NOT attend evening classes - PERIOD. If anyone under the age of 18 arrives for an evening class, he/she will not be allowed to participate and monies will not be refunded.
