Morocco can be one of the most romantic places: the ancient sites, the smells of the open markets and the food encourages sexiness and intimacy. Remember Casablanca? One of my favorite scenes is in the 90’s version of Sabrina when Julia Ormond and Harrison Ford go to a Moroccan restaurant and eat with their fingers.
Moroccan cooking uses a slow cooking clay pot called a Tagine that just imparts beautiful flavors into its food. In this class, we will use a classic Tagine, as well as traditional pots and pans that will help us come close to the real thing.
You will learn:
-
•Moroccan Style lima bean salad with yogurt and crunchy bits
-
•Sweet Chicken Tagine with Preserved Lemons & Olives
-
•Sexy Stewed Lamb with Chili, Ginger and Chickpeas
-
•Dried Fruits with steamed couscous
-
•BYOB
